About the Lint Center for National Security Studies

Our History

Since 2007, the Lint Center has awarded 57 scholarships, ranging from $500 to $2,000 each, to support the next generation of national security professionals. Founded as a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, we are committed to fostering educational development and opportunities in intelligence, counterintelligence, and national security.

With over 200 mentors – seasoned practitioners in their respective fields – we connect young individuals with invaluable guidance and support. This mentorship program enhances the understanding of national security issues, cross-cultural studies, global understanding, and cyber intelligence, building a bridge for the next generation entering the Intelligence Community.

Our Actions

The mission of the Lint Center for National Security Studies is to empower individuals and advance the study of national security issues. We achieve this by:

Identifying and supporting promising individuals in their educational pursuits through scholarships.
Providing meaningful leadership development through mentorship programs with current and former counterintelligence and national security professionals.
Creating a forum for the dissemination and discussion of national security studies through our online web portal.

Who We Serve

We offer scholarships to counterintelligence and national security workers, their children, and scholars dedicated to advancing the field.

Our Commitment

All donations and contributions directly support our scholarship fund.
Our staff and volunteers are unpaid, ensuring resources are dedicated to our mission.
We are a Veteran and minority-operated and managed organization.
